Police said they were called about a domestic dispute on Horseshoe Circle around 4:30 a.m. A woman fled her home and went to a neighbor's house, telling police she had been physically assaulted and threatened with a rifle, according to officials.
Officers were initially unable to make contact with the suspect and declared a barricade situation. Neighbors were evacuated from their homes and area residents were ordered to shelter in place.
Negotiators and a county SWAT team were dispatched to the scene and the suspect was eventually arrested "without further incident," said Horsham police.
